Shortly thereafter, she became frustrated with the lack of \u201cSpace Available\u201d medical care on base and the headaches of the \u201cpay-and-claim\u201d medical care of the German Economy.<\/p>\n<p>In response, she created the American Medical Center in 2012 to address and help fill\u00a0the needs of the\u00a0Americans\u00a0stationed\u00a0in the\u00a0Kaiserslautern Military Community.<\/p>\n<p>As demand for medical services grew, American Medical Center has expanded its on-site medical services to now include four family practice physicians, physical therapy, Psychiatry, Nutritional Counseling, and Veterans Evaluation Services (VES.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide our patients with compassionate, comprehensive healthcare of exceptional quality throughout their time in Germany.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be the provider of choice for primary and preventative care services for the civilian and retiree members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Values<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Quality<\/em><br \/>\nWe maintain the highest standards and achieve them by continually measuring and improving our outcomes.<\/li>\n<li><em>Compassion<\/em><br \/>\nWe demonstrate our commitment to exceptional care by providing a caring and supportive environment for our patients, their families, and fellow caregivers.<\/li>\n<li><em>Teamwork<\/em><br \/>\nWe collaborate and share knowledge to benefit patients and fellow caregivers for the advancement of our mission.<\/li>\n<li><em>Service<\/em><br \/>\nWe strive to exceed our patients\u2019 and fellow caregivers\u2019 expectations for comfort and convenience.<\/li>\n<li><em>Integrity<\/em><br \/>\nWe adhere to high moral principles and professional standards by a commitment to honesty, confidentiality, trust, respect, and transparency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Story Clinic director moved to Germany in 2010 as a nurse civilian contractor.
